Let the pictures speak for themselves. Breathtaking, tranquil, and
elegant are three words that come to my mind when I think
about Riverside Retreat. Judy and Carey have created an
incredible place to have a wedding, weekend getaway or a family
reunion but the possibilities here are endless. The beautiful done
up cabins, to ample RV parking, you take your pick. Having such
easy highway access and only being a few minutes away from
town makes this the ultimate gathering place. The ambiance
here is peaceful as you take a stroll around the grounds you will
find yourself in an amazing, lush forest type setting and be
awestruck by the beautiful fountain in the pond. The location is
nestled alongside the Blindman River; what an oasis. Thank you
for such a spectacular weekend. I'm sure looking forward to
coming back.

Ward & I have watched as Carey & Judy put so much time, effort & thought into how their campground would look & be a great place for folks to enjoy themselves when there. We had the pleasure of being one of those guests a couple of months ago when we were invited to a wedding. The location is perfect, in the country, but still only minutes outside of the great community of Rimbey. They have thought of everything from easy parking & plenty of space to camp. A beautiful pond & spray fountain, walking trails wide enough for golf carts & even vehicles & farm equipment! The granary built into an outdoor bar is like something from a movie set or a home and garden magazine- it’s exceptional & very functional. We had a chance to tour the guest cabins on another visit & were very impressed with the modern, but rustic charm- such creative style! At the wedding we enjoyed sitting outdoors with shade from the canopy and later on, inside a very large party tent- complete with a dance floor! Wow is all I can say- great people, great facility, great location & would highly recommend this location should you be planning a family gathering where you want your guests to be comfortable & feel like they are having a fantastic experience in the beauty of the country with all the conveniences of being uptown!

retreat but not too far from a town full of conveniences? Riverside
Retreat is for you and is just north of Rimbey, Alberta. You will
wind down the road along the riverbank and come into an
beautiful area of cabins, RV parking and a large area for many
events; may it be a wedding, reunion or maybe even a convention.
To complete this area is a pond with a beautiful fountain and 2
docks. This is ideal for some great photo ops. I witnessed all of this
at one of their first events, a wedding. Great hospitality and perfect
in everyway.
